1. Reading Response(Read Aloud Section): In chapter 7 Freak and Max are chased during the 4th of July fireworks into the Mill Pond by Blade and his gang! Freak The Mighty barely escape becoming victims twice in the same night. We heard the scene described from Max’s point of view, because he is the narrator. For this assignment, you will take on another point of view or perspective.Pretend you are BLADE! You are out of breath and annoyed after fleeing the scene due to a passing cop car. You cannot believe the giant kid and his midget sidekick outmaneuvered and outsmarted you. When you reach the vacant lot your crew hangs at, you immediately start describing in detail the account to one of your buddies who stayed behind. How did you feel when Freak put you down in front of your whole gang? How were you able to spot Max and Freak again? How did you direct your gang in pursuit of Max and Freak? How did you feel when you were stuck in the pond? What will you do the next time you encounter them?
